Doris DAY and James STEWART in a suspenseful moment from
Paramount's “THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH" Technicolor.
lion promises all the spine-tingling
tension, exciting drama and color-
ful backgrounds that have made
Hitchcock films masterpieces of
their kind.
A- story of political intrigue,
kidnapping and murder, the Para-
mount thriller was filmed against
the dramatically different worlds
of French Morocco’s sinister, dan-
ger-paved alleys and bazaars, and
London’s plush Albert Hall, sed-
ate embassy row, and not-so-fash-
ionable side streets.
Stewart and Miss Day are cast
rs a doctor and his singer wife,
on vacation in Marrakech. Stew-
art witnesses the knifing of an
Arab in the city’s back streets,
and while tending the dying man
is given information of an im-
pending assassination. He thus be-
comes a dangerous man to the
plotters, and from that moment
o*i neither he nor anyone belong-
ing to him are safe. Torn be-
tween self-preservation and con-
science, he becomes involved in
some of the most perilous adven-
tures that ever crammed a Hitch-
cock film.
Two songs by Miss Day and a
dramatic orchestral piece per-
formance by the London Sym-
phony orchestra play an import-
' nt role in building suspense to a
reportedly unsurpassed pitch.
