type because by doing so we can print
one-fifth more news than formerly.
We could still set our paper in th* old
ten-point typo, but in doing so we
would have to leave out every fifth
column of news. In other words, wo
are printing five columns of news
now to where w* formerly printed
four. The smaller type makes this
possible.
