The announcement in last
week’s Reporter that the Waco
Cotton Palace had set aside' Nov.

in Rockdale.
Mayor U. * C. Meyer, than
whom there is no greater Rock-

busy in-circulating the plan to
send a delegat ion of not less than
one hundred Rockdale boosters
to Waco on that date. He got in
communication at once with the
railroad people looking to a spec-
ial low rate, and one or more
special cars to be set out here to
accomodate the Rockdale crowd.

Cotton receipts at Cause up to
last Friday numbered 2,071 bales.
Farmers who called on the Re-
porter Saturday all reported a
good rain Thursday last, and all
say it will do much more good
than harm. There was little or
no wind, and all the damage to
cotton was where the staple had
already fallen out on the ground.
The rain was a splendid, season-
ing fall, and will do m,vh for
fall gardens and winter plowing.

would not do ;tII m her power to keep
her child healthy, but often she does
not know how. So when a doctor
of standing points the way all can
afford to listen.
It is an accepted fact that nine out
of ten ot the troubles of infants and
children is intestinal. You notice it
hy the fact that the child i- const!

for the use erf children. It is mild,
gentle and non-griping. The remedy
is absolutely pure and is guaranteed

their children anything else. These
are only a few among thousands ot
women.
You can buy a fifty cent or one

Rockdale People Must Recognize and
Heed It.
Kidney ills come mysteriously.
Hut nature always warns you.
Notice the kidney secretions.
See if the color is unhealthy.
If there are settlings and sediment.
Passages frequent, scanty, painful.
It’s time to use Doan's Kidney Pills.
To ward off serious diseases.
Doan's have done great work in
Rockdale.
Mrs. L. A. Get', of Rockdale. Texas,
says: "In my estimation there is no
other kidney remedy equal to Doan's
Kidney Dills. I suffered from kidney
trouble, and severe backaches and was
bothered by difficulty with the kidney
secretions. I had hut little strength
and my health was rapidly declining.
Doan’s Kidney Dills, procured from
Hodge ,v Baldridge's drug store, did
away with all these troubles and in
return I gladly give them my highest
endorsement."
