Christian church last Lord's Day.
Notwithstanding rain and mud a

for the church school and for the
preaching service at eleven o’clock.
However, some of the "curiosity" of

The Coleman Independent Home
Demonstration Club met Friday Jan-
uary 9, with Mrs. Meek Byers.
With the president, Mrs. Frank
Gillispie, in charge the meeting was
opened by the club song, followed
by a short business session.
Following the business several
beautiful quilts were displayed, and
members present exchanged quilt
patterns and scraps. The hostess
then served refreshments of boiled
custard and- fruit cake to thirteen
members and guests.
The next meeting will be with Mrs.
