County-Wide Music Night
The -regular monthly County-
wide music fiesta was conduct-
ed at the. Replica Park building
on Thursday night. May 23, by
the WPA Recreation 'Depart-
ment. This proved to be the best
attended of any music program
to date. Community singing,
so]os, duets, quartets and string
bands from Brown Ranch, Vale-
ra. Junction, Talpa, Santa Anna
and Coleman entertained the
crowd with a two hour program.
One of the sponsors estimated
the crowd at 500.
The next county-wide music
night will be June 21, 1940.
