Supt. H. G. Adams, Rev. Harrell
and Mr. Neal Nicholson sponsored
a camping trip for about 25 Boy
Scouts and prospective Scouts. The
party went to Lake Tonkawa at
Buffalo Gap after schqpl Friday.
They cooked their meals in the
mess hall and set up their pup
tents in which to spend the night,
but they didn’t have a very com
fortable one at that. A two-inch
rain fell during the night and most
of the boys were drenched before
morning.
The damp weather didn’t keep
the boys from participating in the
sports next day. They passed tests
in swimming, running and hiking.
Everyone returned home Saturday
and reported an enjoyable trip.
The Novice six-man football
squad will play Tuscola here at
Novice Friday afternoon at 2 o’-
clock. Let’s get in there and support
our team. J
The faculty of the Novice School
is entertaining the trustees
