The contest was played dur-
ing cold and intermittent show-
ers. with approximately 200 per-
sons Fit the grandstand. At least
half of the audience, consisting
of the Ballinger pep squad and
band, came from Ballinger.
Despite the slippery ball and
turf, the young Ballinger hero
was able to do just about any-
thing he wanted to do with the
football. He, of course, had some
able support from his team-

both defensive and offensive,
