school auditorium in Windom,
Fannin County. Nov. 25. The
loan will he made to Eugene Win-
chester, a 41-year-old farmer, for
$5,000 to build a two-bedroom
house with modern electrical
equpi merit and plumbing. Speak-

will take part In the presenta-
tion of the check to Winchester
and Dillard B. Lasseter, National
Administrator of the Farmers
Home Administration will take
part in the ceremony.
This is one of the first loans
made in the nation under the
four year lending program of
the Farmers Home Administra-
tion Congress authorized to re-
build and repair farm structures.
Other applications are pending.
The loans will finance the con-
struction and repair of farm
houses and other buildings and
provide for minor improvements
to insure healthful, sanitary and
safe farm housing, according to
County Supervisor Claude C.
Carpenter, of Sweetwater and
Roby, whose offices are already
accepting applications for loans
undei the farm housing program.
“They will be made to farm own-
ers who cannot get the necessary
credit elsewhere. Land owners
may obtain farm housing loans
to improve the dwellings of ten-
ants. Loans will also bo made
to improve farm lands.”
