Al! the people of San Patricio Electric Cooper-
ative can't hold the appliances purchased by co-
operative members.
This year alone they will spend more than
1,700,000 dollars for a wide variety of appli-
ances to use the electric systems they built them-
selves. This money goes to home-town mer-
chants and to the millions of people in industry
who helped manufacture these appliances and
equipment.
This productive pole . . , planted by the mem-
ber-owners of the San Patricio Electric Coopera-
tive . .. and nurtured through the years has con-
tributed a thousand times its original cost in a
stronger rural economy . . . and a better way of
life for its owners. Rural electrification is Helping
