On ’Sky Castle'
Duly In Korea
Too Late To Classify
A Coleman foct soldier, Pfc,
Tommy McDonald, for the past
several months has been in the
position of . being able to look down
on planes operating in Korea, and
stay on solid earth while he did it.
McDonald has been on duty as
a radar operator and technician on
a remote Korean-■•mountain, that
juts up sharply to provide a clear
radar field of a wide area over
Korea. A narrow, spiraling road
runs from the valley below to the
isolated radar station atop the peak,
whose residents are called “sky cas-
tle hermits” by troops based in the
valley below.
From the peak the radar crew
can look down on -planes operating
in the more level area below, Mc-
Donald writes his parents, Mr. and
Mrs, G. C. McDonald of here.
Drivers make dai^v runs up the
difficult, winding road each day
to bring the lookout station crews
mail, laundry and supplies, the
Coleman soldier said. The moun-
tain installation is a tri-service out-
fit, and includes personnel of the
Army, Marines and Air Force.

OUR BIG ANNIVERSARY SALE CONTINUES

To Another Great
It was over twenty years ago that he took title to his
first motor car^and^oce that, time, he has owned
and driven almost a dozen different automobiles.
And yet, every time he accepted the keys to a new
car, he knew in his heart that it was a compromise.
For—like so many millions of his fellow men—he
had his heart set on a Cadillac!
Well, there’s no compromise this time! The magic
mbment has arrived. The papers are all in order. . .
the keys are it} his hand ... and the car of his dreams
is waiting for him to take the wheel. It’s his!
And, if you could but ride with him on that fitst
journey, you’d understand what it means to have a
motoring dream come true.
You’d see excitement in his eyes as he rolls majes-
tically through the city’s traffic—and puts his
Cadillac through its thrilling paces on the open road.
You’d see honest pride in his face as he sits, calmly
and serenely in the driver’s seat, and catches the
admiring glances of his fellow motorists.
And you’d sense the joy in his heart as he turns
down that familiar street and heads for the happiest
homecoming of the year!
In short, you’d witness a motorist in his finest hour
Come Back To See Us
Often!
;—living out an experience that has no counterpart
in the world of transportation. It is a thrill and an
inspiration and an education—all rolled into one.
A friend of ours put it this way. "There are two
kinds of automobiles,” he told us. “There are Cadillacs
—and there are all the others.”
Whether or not you’ve driven “all the others”, we
can’t say. But of one thing we are certain: Until
you’ve spent an hour in the driver’s seat of a 1954
Cadillac, your motoring education is not complete.
Why not come in soon and do so?
