Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harrell
and children of Graham spent
the weekend with her parents,

son, John VV. Harris, left Thurs-
day for San Diego where he is
stationed with the Navy.

Valley where she has been teach-
ing in the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo
j Public Schools. In this school
system the enrollment is above
7.000 and more than 300 teachers
are employed.

Mrs. Fannie Rich has returned
from San Antonio where she
visited her son and family, Mr
and Mrs. Howard.Ri^h and fam
ilv, and Houston where she visit
ed her daughter and family. Mr
and Mrs. William Paez, Freddie
and Betsy. She also went to
Commerce to attend graduation
services at East Texas State Col-
lege where her grandson. David
Rich, received a degree.

E. L. DOSSEYS HAVE GUESTS
Mrs. Minnie Dossey of Lock-
hart is visiting her son and fam-
ily, Mr. and Mrs. E. L, Dossey
and children. She is recuperat-
ing from two strokes she suffered
recently. Also visiting in the Dos-
sey home over the weekend were
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dossey
and boys of San Antonio, Mr. and
Mrs. B. J. Scott of Brady, and
Mrs. Paul Rowe arid Mrs. Dor-
othy Jeffcoat and Sheila of San-
ta Anna.
SON-IN-LAW OF LOCAL
RESIDENT DIES
Eddie Boudreaux, son-in-law of
Mrs H. C. Field of Coleman,
died Sunday in Louisiana. It is
understood that Mrs. Field and
her daughter and family. Mr
and Mrs. Foy Coleman and dau-
ghters, left Sunday for Louis-
iana to attend funeral services.
