NOW THE LINT COMES OUT HERE: City officials and
ginner Charles Hunter are taking a look at the lint which
comes out of the new lint cleaner and press, installed
recently -at the Beall Gin. From left to right are Mayor
Foster Miller, Councilman Joe C, Stevens, Hunter and
Councilman Dr. A. O. Brink. No longer will the lint be
blown into the burr pit. Now^it will be channeled to this
machine and be baled. Burrs are being hauled from the
pit, and this new control of the lint will eliminate the lint
problem and most of the dust problem, the glnners point
out. Special equipment has been purchased and adapted
to handle the burr hauling (Photo by Capps Studio)
