and graduation on Monday
evening, May 23, at 7:00 p m.
This is an annual event held at
the Coleman Multi-Purpose
Center at 800 East Second
Street.
The program started with
Torrey Jones giving the wel-
come followed by the Pledge of
Allegiance led by America
Cardenas and song "America"
while America Cardenas
marched with the flag.
The class then sang "If You
Are Happy", the Rhythm Band
performed with the following
students taking part: Cymbals,

pie”, singing with him was
America Cardenas. Preceding
this, a play "Goldilocks and the
Three Bears”, was presented
with Chris Garcia reciting.

Following the play Tonya

Hodges as the doctor was
performed. A short fingerplay
"Two Little Black Birds" was
recited by Rongy Madlock,
Leon Powell and Richard Diaz
Jr.
The program was concluded
with a square dance number.

Brown and Santos Mendoza,
April Hodges and Chris Garcia
and Priscilla Salinas and Alonso

AUSTIN: • Comptroller Bob
Bullock announced he is send
ing a representative from his
Abilene Office to Coleman on
Wednesday, J une 22nd to assist
local taxpayers and answer
questions about state taxes.
Bullock said Enforcement
Officer Royce Manning will
meet with local taxpayers at-
the Chamber of Commerce,
Director’s Room, 516 Commer
rial. from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00
noon.
"If Uoleman-area merchants,
or anyone else for that matter,
have any questions about state
taxes or need help in preparing
tax forms, Mr. Manning will be
there to assist them,” Bullock
said.
"We’re trying to cut the red
tape in this office and we
believe these face-to-face ses-
sions with taxpayers help do
just that," Bullock added.
Bullock reminded those tax-
payers who are unable to meet
with his representative on June

their questions answered quick-
