The April 20th Lox and Bagel
breakfast of the Men’s Club will be
held at the Western Hills Hotel at
10:00 A. M.
A real old fashioned political open
forum will be the program of the
morning. Having discovered that
Texas is not a one party state, there
being a few hardy men called Re-
publicans, the committee has arranged
a Democrat-Republican open forum
and caucus.
Mr. Marshall Kennedy, Tarrant
County Chairman of the Republican
Party will state his party platform.

Following brief ten minute talks
by each of the above gentlemen, the
floor, will be open to general question,
ing. The results should be interesting.
JEWISH OPERA STAR
DEAD AT 63
CHICAGO (WNS) Giacomo Rimmi,
world-famous opera baritone, died
here this week at the age of 63
from a heart attack.
Mr. Rimmi stemmed from an old
and prominent Jewish family in Italy.
His wife, the Bialystok-born Rosa
Raisa, was an outstanding operatic
sensation in this country about three
decades ago.
