Charles Sawyer (right), former U. S. Secretary of Commerce, and a prominent
attorney and businessman in Cincinnati, recently purchased a State of Israel
Development Bond from Charles M. Messer, Chairman of the Cincinnati
Committee for State of Israel Bonds. Investment capital derived from the sale
of Israel Bonds provides for the development of new industries, the expansion
o agricu tural production, the construction of roads, harbors and railways,
And the discovery and exploitation of natural resources.
