Funeral services for Fred Glat-
zer, 68, of 6630 Northport, Dal-
las, representative for several
religious publications companies,
were held May 19 in the Weil-
and-Merritt Funeral C h a p e L
Burial was in Tiferet Israel
Cemetery.
Mr. Glatzer, who died May 16,
represented the Zion Publishing
Co. of New York City, Bloch
Publishing Co., World Book So-
ciety and McGraw-Hill Publish-
ing Co.
A Dallas resident for the las
28 years, he was a member o.
Congregation Shearith Israel am
Tiferet Israel, the Zionist Organ
zation of America, the City oi
Hope and Far Bond, a Jewisl
refugee organization.
Able to speak Hungarian, He-
brew, Yiddish and German as well
as English, he was in big demand
as an interpreter for refugees ar-
riving in Texas.
A native of Budapest, Hungary,
he was a French Army veteran
of World War I and came to the
U.S. in 1920.
Survivors: Wife; two sons. Jack
Glatzer of Geneva, Switzerland,
and Melvin Glatzer of Dallas; two
stepsons, Abbey Zimmerman and
Mort Zimmerman of Dallas; three
brother*, Harry Glatzer and Max
Glatzer of New York, N.Y., and
Toe Glatzer of Los Angeles, Calif.;
a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Edrich of
New Milford, N.J., and seven
grandchildren.

of Mr. Fred Glatzer on May 16.
