Our Hearts
Go Out
By Rabbi Irving Miller
Our hearts go out this Passover
to our brothers and sisters in Is-
j rad wh,o are bravely celebrating
the great Festival of Liberation in
city, countryside, and border set-
tlement under conditions of grow-
ing stress and strain. They face
the same enemy that our forefath-
ers faced over three thousand years

ican people towards a fresh re-
cognition of how closely knit is the
identity of interests—moral, spirit-
ual, and material, too—between
the United States and Israel. When
that recognition dawns anew, as it
must, then I am sure our govern- .
ment will act decisively to preserve
peace in the Middle East, maintain
the independence of its many peo-
ples, and contribute mightily to its
