Emanu-EI Couples Club
The husband and wife team of
Cookie Cohen Dukatt and (Duke)
Sidney Dukatt were installed as co-

Couples Club on March 9th. Rabbi
Gerald J. Klein did the honors of
installing the slate which also
included Teal and Gary Lewis, co-
presidents-elect; Joan and Art Stoler,
co-treasurers; Phyllis and Paul
Rifkin, co-secretaries; Joyce and
ferry Zellman and Jessie and Jay
Sackler, co-chairs social and Ellen
and Alan Silver and Carol and Bill
Gold, co-chairs membership.
When Rabbi Klein made his
installation speech, he said, “I’ve
done a lot of installations in my day
but have never before installed a
‘Duke’ and a ‘Duchess.’” For the
coming year, members will be see-
ing a lot of red—Cookie always
wears red.
The dinner in Tobian Auditorium
had a theme of “What’s Black and
Sidney and Cookie Dukatt
White and Red All Over.” The band
played great music. The decorations
and food were super and thanks to
the Social Committee, all had a great
time.
