Engagements
The icy crysallis of winter breaking—even temporarily—has
made travel a most attractive journey and prospect. Many Dal-
lasites have set forth or are planning interesting trips.
COMINGS, GOINGS AND GUESTS—East week, Mrs. Abe
Gough, Mrs. Sidney Levit and Mrs. Bernard Kordner left by p
lane for a three weeks tour of Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tycher
are enjoying two weeks in the tropical 'beauty of San Juan,
Puerto Rico. Chicago is the destination for the George Cohens
for two weeks of business and pleasure.
KOGAN-GOODMAN
An August 29 wedding at Temple Emanu-El is planned by
Miss Linda Beth Goodman and Robert E. Kogan.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome H.
Goodman, 9961 Elmada Lane. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kogan,
3209 Marquette, are parents of the future bridegroom.
Miss Goodman is a graduate of Hillcrest High School. She
attended the University of Texas and is a student at Arlington
State College. Mr. Kogan, a graduate of Highland Park High
School, also attended UT and is a student at Arlington State
College. '
Mrs. Rose Fink’s trip to Pon-
ca City, Okla. unfortunately has
an unpleasant side. Her grand-
son, Elliott Dritch, age 4, has
just been hospitalized at Ponca
City Hospital for 8 weeks in
traction due to a bad fracture.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Dritch, 1404 DeSoto, Ponca
City. Get well soon Elliott!
Dallasites are happily wel-
coming guests for various occa-
sions. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Rob-
inson, 6142 Walnut Hill Lane,
happily hosted their daughter
and new son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Loren Waldman (nee Mari-
lyn Robinson) of Cambridge,
Mass. Relatives entertained ex-
tensively in their honor at many
family parties. A new grand-
daughter was the happy occa-
sion for a visit by Mrs. Jack
Gilman of New York City, to
Rabbi and Mrs. Lee Kivel, 11718
Lochwood Blvd. She will be
here for the naming of little
Caren Michelle on Feb. 11. Mr.
and Mrs. A1 Leviton, 8612
Beauregard, hosted her mother,
Mrs. Joseph Cohen of New Or-
leans, who was also guest
speaker at a lovely Dallas af-
fair.

Morris L. Siegel of San Antonio,
were hosts at the Columbian
Club fo,r the Rehearsal dinner.
The wedding reception in Linz
Hall at Temple Emanu-El was
given by the bride’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Braveman,

Out of town guests, Mr. and
Mrs. Irvin Eisen, Beaumont, and
Mr. and Mrs. Eli Schaffer, Hous-
ton, are expected for the Bar
Mitzvah of Howard Wolf on
Feb. 15 at Temple Emanu-El.

grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Casper and Mrs. Hilda
Wolf of Dallas. Howard’s par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard B.
Wolf will host a luncheon at
their home, 7121 Brookshire
Circle, following the services.

ty Project was a complete suc-

of Kravitz assembled at Chair-
man Terry Horwitz’s home and
