John Wheat Has Broken I .eg
From Binder Accident.
John Wheat suffered a broken leg
and narrowly escaped a more seri-
ous accident when the big" wheel of
his binder ran over Him last Thurs-
day while he was making some re-
pairs on his machine. He was tak-
en to the Overall Hospital and will
remain there until he recovers from
the injury.
He was in front of the binder
working bn it when tire team jump-1
ed and the reel struck him down.
He managed to get the lines and pull
the machine around so that he was
no longer in front of the sickle, but
in spile of further efforts the big
wheel ran over him. making a
straight break in his leg. His other |
injuries were slight.
