Effective March 1st, if you are a utility customer of the City of Valley Mills, you and your family
members living in your household will be covered by a Caring-Heart Membership. Your bill for
utility service in March (which you will receive in April) will include a one dollar voluntary opt
out fee on your utility bill from the City of Valley Mills. If you wish to opt out from the start,
please visit the Valley Mills City Hall, complete and submit the one page opt out form on or be-
fore March 25th. You can opt out at any time in the future by completing the form at City Hall. If
you opt out, you will not be protected by the program. If you live in or near the City but are not
a utility customer and wish to have a Membership at the same $12 annual cost, you can pick up
the application form at City Hall. The program was approved by the Valley Mills City Council on
Feb. 4th. For complete program rules, visit www.careflite.org. For questions about the Caring-
Heart Membership Program, please call (877) 339-2273. For questions about the City’s utility
service, please visit the Valley Mills City Hall.
