Friends quilt Friendship Quilt
The Cooper Community Quilting Club quilted a friendship quilt that ladies at the center
had pieced together in 1982. Eula Fay Watson was the winner. Pictured are Community
Quilting Club members (from left) Della Powell, Gwen Fitzgerald, Gayle Burleson, Wat-
son and quilter Marianne Myers. The club members have quilted two other quilts. One
will be at the Concerned Citizens Christmas Craft Show Nov. 18,19, and the other will
be at the Concerned Citizens Annual Dinner in April.

Church collecting winterwear
First Assembly of God is
once again collecting winter
wear for the homeless in Fort
Worth. They plan to deliver
the items Dec. 10, and those
donating are welcome to go.
Items being collected in-
clude coats, hats, gloves,
sleeping bags, blankets,
sweatshirts and hygiene
products. You may deliver
these items to the church at
321 N. Second Street.

Brisket Sandwich and Bake

whole or half briskets or their
