John Shipp, senior sanitarian
of the Wood County Health
Unit. Samples of water from
the wells were sent to Austin
for tests.
Shipp advised people living
near the lake to sterialize their
well water.

Rotary Club attended the dis-
trict assembly of the 188th Ro-
tary District in Marshall Mon-
day.

ident of the local club, Joe
Stallings, incoming secretary,
and Bob Fuller and Nace Craw-
ford. incoming directors.

Buried at Como
Mrs. Mollie B. Clamtett, 77,
of Como died Saturday of in-
juries received when struck by
an automobile following a vis-
it to her husband’s grave at
the Como Cemetery. She was
struck as she crossed the high-
way near the Cemetery where
shoctiad gone to place flowers
off the grave of her husband,
who was buried last March 16.
Funeral services were held at
Como Sunday afternoon at the
Christian Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs.
J. G. Robertson, of Mineola.
