Tliis was the scone of tragedy
and sudden death Sunday, Aug.
14th on Highway 55 onr; and
r no-half miles oast of Edna. The
occupant of the car was James
H. Jones, 21, of Victoria who
was killed instantly at 10:40
p.m. He was the ninth traffic
death. Since then the tenth
death has already been recorded
for Jackson County. Cause of
the crash is still being deter-
mined. The driver crashed into
the rear of a large truck driven
