WANTS A COADJUTOR.
Bishop Forrest at San Antonio
asks the Pope to send him a
bishop coadjutor, as the duties
of his diocese are greatly i i
creasing and he is growing *• o
old for so much very active and
exacting labors. Bishop Fur-
rest is one of the grand old n*on
of Texas religious work and num-
bers his friends by the thousands
both inside and outside of lib
faith. To such hardy pion ers
as he is the religious sentiment
of the country indebted for the
firm foundation it has achieved *
and the splendid marches on
smoothly and steadily to suc-
cess. He is Frenchman by
birth but a true and loyal Amer-
ican in every respect except that
he could never jar the broad
brogue from his rich and kindly
voice. A man of deep piety his
large fund of human knowledge
and his broad charity, as well; s
his great ecclesiastical learning
eminently fit him for his pres-
ent exalted post that he so
adorns. A stranger to every
form of affectation he early
gained and held the friendship
of all classes and proved him-
self one of the finest organizers
of his church in south Texas. Il ls
faith and zeal are well shown in
the manner of which he built in
the old days of Halletsville the
immense and magnificent stout
church which will ever stand as
a monument to his consecrated
energy. There were no railway

Delays are dangerous. There is no more com-

always gives due warning and failure to heed
same may result in Diabetes, Lumbago, Bright s
Disease, or some other serious affection of the
Kidneys. Pineules are readily and naturally ab-
sorbed and assimilated by the stomach, driving
out the poison due to •disordered conditions of
the Kidneys or Bladder. They purify the blood
and invigorate the entire system. The first dose
