EDITOR’S COMMENT
THIS is the occasion to take time

Practically all of the early planted

drouth that we have just gone thru
and those of feint heart who are easily

late now” and as a result feed is liable
to be scarce this fall and winter. The

luck may be able, with the higher
prices that are bound to prevail, to get
fairly godd and possibly excellent re
turns for his efforts. It is always
worthwhile to try and the man with
stout heart never gives up. Go to it
and raise something for feed for next
winter. Any kind of feed will be high
and if you will have to buy feed you
will be in hard, luck. If you will have
any to sell you will rejoice at the good
price it will bring. Time is money now

Then too we want some of those
“hurry up” crops on display at the Yoa
kum Fair this fall to show the other
fellow what can be done here in a
case of pinch. There never was a big-1
ger need for a Fair to show up those
possibilities than right now and there
could be no better opportunity than
the present to show up the worth-
whileness of such a fair.

With Heliums going good, and Yoa-

ball ,the game should have plenty of
thrills.
With Newman pitching for the Gob
biers, Yoakum will have plenty chance
to display their batting ability, as
Newman has got the stuff to make a
batter blink his eyes.
