first quarter, outscored the
Bell JVs the rest of the way,
but lost the game 45-43 Mon-
day night. Sandra Mitchell
had 15 points and Lisa Per-
kins and Jan Nicholson sev-
en each. Jana Lewis com-
piled three personal fouls in
the first quarter, sat out
most of the rest of the game,
and was held to three points.
The varsity and JV girls
teams at Burleson High will
play three more games this
season with a chance for
both squads to win all three.
The Elkettes will be home
tonight against Richland, a
team that Burleson beat 55-
46 on the road on Jan. 2. The
varisty game is at 7:30 p.m.
with the JV match at 6 p.m.
The varsity Elkettes are
2-11 in district and 3-15 over-
all while the JV is 6-7 in
District 7-5A and 9-11 in all
