The Johnson County Pro-Life
Ministries Pregnancy Aid Center to-
gether with participating iqefchants
will be helping young women and
their unborn children by conducting
a fundraiser.
The event, known as the Ro-
und-Up for Life, is geared to help
needy women during their pregnan-
cy.
Several merchants have agreed
to help in the "Round-Up" merely
by placing posters in their establish-
ments and allowing their cashiers to
ring up customer's total sales to the
nearest nickel, dime, quarter, or dol-
lar when requested by customers.
example, a purchase total of $5.?1
may be "rounded-up” to $5.35,
$5.40, or $6.
The money rounded up will be
held by the individual merchant and
then forwarded to the pregnancy cen-
ter. The success of the program will
depend on small amounts rounded
up each purchase.
The program is boosted when
the small change donation accum-
ulates through the participating area
merchants.
The pregnancy center is a non-
profit organization devoted to help-
Thanks
To The.
Our field trips to the BVFD each year are always
fun. Our children love “driving” the big trucks,
shooting the hoses, seeing the fireman’s uniform &
dog...& their coloring books.
We’re thankful for the sacrifice these men make
to volunteer their time.
Thanks to J.P. Ray for always scheduling visits. A
special thanks to the 4 firemen who gave so much
attention to teach & entertain our children on
Thurs., 10-20-88.
You are appreciated!

any way they can. All their services

"Together our pennies rounded
up make a lot of "cents," said San-
dy Stewart, director of the center.
This will be the first time that
the "Round-Up" will be held in
Johnson County. The event began
on Oct 1 and will continue indefi-
nitely.
At the present time the center
is run by church and private don-
