hit a sensitive spot, a number of

Jessie Cates (Melinda Mils), a
middle-aged woman, lives with
her elderly mother, Thelma Cates
(Dorothy Deavers), in a small
country home
Jessie moved in with her
mother after her husband left
her Her other problems include
the fact that she has cpilepsv and
a son who is a thief
On a night that doesn't seem
any different than am other,
Jessie enters the loom and asks
her mothei lot the location of
her father’s old gun
Shortly thereafter, she calmU

she plans to kill herself before

Night Mother will be plaving
at Circle Theatre, 3460 Blue Bon-
net Circle in Fort Worth, through
Feb. 21. Performances are at 8:15
p m., Thursdays through Satur-
days, with a matinee on Sunday,
Feb. 8, at 3:15 p.m. Tickets are
$7.50-$9 and may be obtained at
the theatre box off ice or at Rain-
bow Ticket Master, T.C.U. Stu-
dent Center, Bell Helicopter and
tickets KVIL. The box office
