Hefty turnips fn
lots-a- greens
These oversized beauties greeted Don Snider and his wife Dorothy when
they returned home (524 Parkridge Blvd.) from vacation recently. The
size of the turnips was astonishing to the couple, who have a small turnip
patch in their back yard. One of these weighed in at 3 pounds, and the
Sniders say they're really anxious to harvest the rest of the crop after
finding the size of these first few they pulled. "No telling what size we've
still got in the ground," said the gentleman farmer.
