Arias celebrates 3rd birthday
Stefan Arias, son of Bobby and
Rayleen Arias, celebrated his third
birthday July 25.1994, with a party
in his backyard.
The theme was clowns. The
birthday boy's mother decorated a
cake with clowns and the number
three. The theme was played out with
the tablecloth, plates, napkins, and
balloons. The guests were entertained
by "Maggie the Clown” who had
magic tricks, music, sing-a-longs, and
balloon animals as well as juggled.
The children also broke a clown pi-
nata filled with candy. They enjoyed
water games and ate hot dogs, cake,
and ice cream.

Godwin VanScoy. 11c was bom Mon-
day, June 6, 1994, at 8:32 a.m. at
Huguloy Memorial Medical Center.
Brandon weighed 9 pounds, I
ounce, and was 22 inches long at
birth.
He was welcomed by his grand-
parents, Janice and Joel Godwin and
Edward and Joyce VanScoy; his
great-grandparents, Helen Nelson,
Harvey and Lurline Echols, and John
and Ellie Van Scoy; and two uncles,
Justin Godwin and Eddie VanScoy.
Fort Worth was presented. Lisa
Thompson of Flower Mound and
Serenity Ozzello of Pampa, Texas,

The couple honeymooned in
Cozumel, Mexico, and took a cruise

Christian University's nursing pro-
gram and is employed by Charter

Christian University and is in gradu-

Have you gone through your baby book, school pictures, and birth-
day memorabilia lately? Chances are you'll find a few newspaper
clippings in there.
The L ifestyles Page is what scrapbooks are made of and it's easy
to make it in. All you have to do is come by the Burleson Star office,
located at 319 N.W. Burleson Blvd., and fill out a form detailing the
event or mail it to the attention of Lifestyles, P.O. Drawer 909,
Burleson, Texas 76097. If you want to add a picture with the story,
simply clip it to it. If it's something really special to you, submitablack
and white photo. Color photos do not always print well in the newspa-
per.
Although we would love to be able to cover everything, it's im-
possible. To compensate for that, we do supply a roll of black and white
film for a 35min camera. Bnng the pictures back, identify them, and
if they will reprint in die newspaper, we'll print them.
The deadline for making it into the Thursday paper is Tuesday at
noon. The deadline for the Monday paper is Thursday at noon. It gats
on a space -available basis. You can request a certain paper and well do
our best to accommodate you. Please remember this is news, notan ad,
sp there are no guarantees on whert something will go in. If it's been a
couple of issues and you still haven't seen your story, give us a call. It
may have slipped through the cracks.
Unfortunately, mistakes can be made. IftheSrar makes an error on
a name that was submitted, the mistake will be conected if it is called
to our attention within seven days of the publication date. We cannot
correct it if the mistake was written on the copy that the reader sub-
mitted. The Star also can not guarantee the return of pictures, especially
if they are not picked up within seven days of the publication. All items
for publication must have a contact person and a daytime phone number
written at the top.
