Pinson died l-cb. 6 in the Co-
manche Community Hospital.
Ik was bom April 28. 1929 in
Proctor to David J. Pinson and
Mary Ammic Milkr. He married
Faye lioff Holtz lx*b. 26. 1987.
Ik was a member of Proctor
Baptist Church and an Army
veteran of World War II. ^
Survivors include his wife, Faye
of Proctor and a sister, June

nurse. Mrs. Ruddick died Feb. 6 in
Osteopathic Hospital in Fort
Worth,
She was bora Oct. II, 1923 in
Erath County to George Decatur
Bundrent and Maggie Reid. She
married John Lloyd Ruddick April
25. 1942 in Dublin.
She was a member of Rosen
Heights Baptist Church in Fort
Worth, a charter member of the
Licensed Vocational Nurses Asso-
ciation in Fort Worth and the
Greenville Chapter #189 Order of
Eastern Star OES.
Survivors include her husband,
John Ruddick and a daughter,
Carrolyn R. Hopkins, both of Fort
Worth; a sister, Faye Secrest of
Dublin and three grandchildren.
Bowles ’
Rose Marie Gibbs Bowles, 70,
died Jan. 31 in Wichita Falls.
She was a former Dublin resi-
dent and attended Dublin schools.
Mrs. Bowles was bom July 19,
1926 in Breckenridge. She worked
at Wichita General Hospital for 20
years.
.She was preceded in death by
her husband, Walter R. Bowles in
1985.
Survivors include a son, Bobby
Ray Bowles and a sister, Frances
Gibbs Bird, both of Wichita Falls;
two grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

Beverly, father of local resident
BUI Beverly Jr., died Feb. 10 in
Mulberry Manor in Stephenvilk.
ik was born Sept. 8. 1921 in
Killeen. He married Alice Martin
Nov. 20, 1941 in Dublin.
Beverly was a retired iron
worker. He served with the Ma-
rines in the South Pacifk during
1942-45 and received full military
medals and honors from the Ma-
rines after 50 years in January
1996.
A former resident of Sioux City,
Iowa, be had lived in the Tolar
area since 1983. He was a member
of Tolar Baptist Church.
Other survivors include his wife,
Alice Beverly of Tolar; another
son, James Stephen Beverly of Las
Vegas; two daughters. Eve R. Cul-
ley of St. Louis, Mo. and Mary
Alice Rubel of Sioux City; six
brothers, Clyde Beverly of Cedar
Hill, Wayne Beverly of Stephen-
ville, Juett Allen Beverly of Ama-
rillo, Otto Carl Beverly of Ana-
coco, La., Winston Beverly of
Arlington and Wendell Beverly of
Hurst; three sisters, Ann Morse of
Kempner, Tex., Grace Woods of
Keene and Alveretta Atherton of
Hurst; six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Briggs, 65, of Bangs were Wednes-
day at Heartland Funeral Home

Briggs was the stepfather of
Dublin resident Patti (Mrs. Terry)
Miller.
He was bom in Chillicothe and
attended school in Water Valley.
He had lived in Carlsbad and
moved to Bangs in 1980.
He was a 32nd degree Mason
