Public Relations Office
PAl L WILDS
Through the generosity of
the business men and women
and several churches in Rains
County, people with needs are
being blessed .-X good Samari-
tan. according to the 10th
chapter ot Luke, is one who is
a caring neighbor to those
around them, attending to their
needs, such as was the case
with Walter and Edna Tant
who lost everything they own-
ed in a fire not long ago
Mrs Tant told me she and
her husband were standing
among the ruins wondering
what they were going to do
when those wonderful people
representing the Rains County
Gins.! Samaritans came up and
told them they had a house tor
them with rent paid, ready for
them to move ir. “They also
gave us furniture and clothing.
We are in pretty good shape
now. thanks to such caring
people." she said
This is only one family
among many who are being
helped through the Good
Samaritan Center of Rains
County.
The Good Samaritans would
like to say a BIG thank you to
all of you beautiful people of
this county who have helped in
any way. large or small. We
couldn't do it without you
There may be some who have
not yet joined with us in this
work of love If so. we tnvite
you to attend one of our month-
ly meetings held at the Center
across the street from the Post
Office on Highway 19 XX u
meet on the first Tuesday of
every month at 7.30 p m. 1
think you will enjoy the friend-
ly atmosphere.
11 you have any questions,
we will try to answer them.
Behold how good and how
pleasant it is for brethren to
dwell together in unity. And
remember, it is more blessed to
give than to receive. Won't
you |oin with us in showing
those less fortunate that we
care 1
