Emory, Texas, and being a
part of a 65.3-acre tract of
land described as 1st tract in
Warranty Deed from Z. M.
Weaver, et al, to J. J. Potts,
et ux, recorded in volume
107, page 240, Deed Records,
Rains County, Texas, and
being specifically described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in
a north-south county road
and in the East Boundary
Line of the above mentioned
65.3- acre tract of land mark-
ed by an iron pin set west
17.7 ft. in the west line of said
road, said point also being
south 417.42 feet from the
northeast corner of said
65.3- acre tract of land;
THENCE south 208.71
feet to a point for corner
marked with iron pin set west
15.7 feet in the west line of
said road;
THENCE west, 1043.6 feet
an iron pin for corner;
THENCE north, 208.71
feet an iron pin for corner;

containing in all 5.00 acres of

W'ater Commission for re-
newal of Permit No. 02520
which authorizes a discharge
of treated wastewater efflu-
ent at a volume not to exceed
an average flow of 3,000 gal-
lons per day from a surface
water treatment plant which
is located just east of the con-
crete spillway between the
Lake Tawakoni earthern
dam and Farm/Ranch Road
47 in Rains County, Texas.
The effluent is discharged in-
to an unnamed branch;
thence to the Sabine River in
Segment No. 0506 of the Sa-
bine River Basin.
The Executive Director of
the Texas Water Commission
has prepared a draft permit,,
which, if approved by the
Commission, will specify
conditions and limitations
generally the same as those
currently enforced by the ex-
isting permit. The expiration
date of the existing permit
was April 4, 1988. It is pro-

South Rains Water Supply
Corporation will increase
water rates as follows:
Minimum usage (2000 gal-
lons or less) $14.00, all over
minimum $2,10 per thousand
gallons. '
A $2.00 rebate for bill paid
on or before the 10th of each
month is still in effect.
This increase is necessary
to cover the higher cost of
operating the system to bet-
ter serve you, the customer.

the application. If the Com-
mission determines that the
request sets out an issue
which is relevant to the per-
mit decision, or that a public
hearing, would serve the
public Interest, the Commis-
sion shall conduct a public
hearing, after the issuance of
proper and timely notice of
the hearing. If no sufficient
request for hearing is re-
ceived within 30 days of the
date of publication of the no-
tice concerning the applica-
tion, the permit will be sub-
mitted to the Commission for
