A Prayer For Today
Everlasting God, Our Heav-
enly Father, we thank thee
for our country, for the land of
opportunity and freedom to
worship God as one desires
We thank thee for thy word
which is as a lamp unto our
feet and a light upon qur path.
We pray that there may be es-
tablished in the highest af-
fairs of our nation, and in Hr.
lowliest homes, this guiding,
light of thine. May peace and .
good will abide in the heartr *
of all. This we ask in the •
name of the Savior of men.,
who taught us when we pray
to any, “Our Father . - ”
(Lord’s Prayer.)
