NEW TIME SAVER FOR FARMERS

communications service to hplp farmers get more
things done without so much wear and tear on them or

pact package, should prove to be a real time-saver for____
hard-working families. It is designed to do three big daughters visited in the homej,n the fal1

Second, the Farm Interphone is hooked up with
special loudspeaker-microphones that make it possible
to answer the phone — hands free — without inter-
rupting your work. Outside calls may be answered
without leaving the barn.
Finally, the Farm Interphone is installed so that
the sounds of the farm buildings can be heard in the
house at night. It’s a kind of “nightwatchman” that
tells you of any unusual activities; livestock in need of
attention; a pump or other equipment that might act
up; or even the start of a fire.
A good farmer is a mighty busy man these days.
And the Farm Interphone is designed to help him
make the most of his time and energy. If you’d like to
learn more about how the Farm Interphone can help
you, just call the telephone business office, or ask any
telephone serviceman.
TELETRAINER?
What is a teletrainer? It is a device the telephone
company has designed and made available to all Junior
and High schools in our area. Not only is the training
set available to our schools, but also the advice and in-
struction of Miss Ruth Gordon, Teletrainer Supervisor
for our Austin Division, of which we are a part.
Miss Gordon has spent the last several years study-
ing and consulting with teachers and school admini-
strators on the training of school children on proper NOTICE:
telephone use.
You may think anyone can use the telephone and
true they can, but have you stopped to think of the
impression you have of people by the way they speak
on the telephone. In the case of an individual you may
make a lasting impression with your friends by your
“telephone manners.” To a business man the telephone
habits of his employees can bring in new customers or
drive away present customers.
The next time you speak on the telephone, stop and
think. How are your telephone manners?”
Caff by number. It’s Iwic• as fast.
