by Loitnah Basham
Keep Emory Beautiful had it’s
regular Tuesday meeting on
October 11 after a summer
break. Our main order of busi-
ness was to make plans for
Texas Recycles Day on Novem-
ber 15.
We are looking into the feasi-
bility of having another tire
and/or battery recycling trailer
on the courthouse square in
Emory. The first tire and battery
clean-up was very successful.
Our aluminum can trailer will be
on the square, and we will have
containers for steel cans, glass
containers and recyclable plas-
tic. We also collect egg contain-
ers and plastic bags for recy-
cling
