la Memory of
Mrs. L. H. Weaver
■
(By Mrs. Tierce Whiteside)
Mrs. H. L. Weaver departed
this life July '30, 1935, in
Morro Bay, California, nearing
the ripe old age of nearly
four-score years.
Left widowed in her first
marriage with five little ones
to feed and clothe was not an
easy task. But posseting the
Christian virtues she accom-
plished her duty more easily.
Her three sous departed this
life in early manhood, leaving-
her two daughters to survive
her passing.
She was acquainted with
grief.
I came in close contact with
Aunt Gulia early in life, and
vividly remember her as a
mother who could sing under
any conditions and who greet-
ed' everyone who came to her
home with sincere hospitality.
She was a devout member of
the Christian church since
early childhood and stood for
jail that was good and pure.
Her health throughout the
years was excellent and Has
brief i.iness that proved the
last of her earthly ilia, find
hushed for a time, the pangs
that were such a part of her,
still left her with strength io
pass from out this earthly life
with a smile.
