out at Washington.
Dear editor:
People arc always talking
about all the rules and regula-
tions Washington is always
thinking up for the people, so
it was with considerable amaze-
ment 1 read in a newspaper last
night that Washington hss
thought op some tor itself.
The Attorney General's De-
partment, oat of force at habit
I guess, has come np with a
set at rules for the 1,200 lawyers
it has in the Justice Depart-
ment Every lawyer mint keep
e log every 19 ninutes of every
day of how he spent his time.
What he did from 9 in to 0:15
has to he entered, from 9:19 to
, » 70, etc, right on through the
entire day, five days a week.
What 1 want to know is, do
you reckon 'there's any danger
at this sprendingf
Are see getting clnro to the
time when Washington will re-
quire me for example to give
a daily account of how 1 spent
my time from son-up to sun-
d«ren?
Since you never can toil and
1 like to be ahead of the hounds,
•o to speak, so long as the
hounds are asleep, I decided to
jet down what 1 did yesterday,
last to aee how it warka.
