night. These are worthwhile
services and the prayer meet-
ing is one of our most interest-
ing services at Caledonia.
We are planning a Thanks-
giving service at the church
Thanksgiving Day at 10 a. m.
We have not made any definite
arrangements concerning the
nature of the program but we
do feel like we should take a
little “time out” and show our
gratitude to God for His many
blessings on this day. We hope
every' one in the community
will join with us In this service.

William Booth, leader of the
Salvation Army, just a few
days before he died, left a
message—all of us need in
these days. He said: “The
only thing that counts at the

we are but as we want to be,
We need to keep faith in our
fellow-man. Keep faith in the
church. It is true there are
mistakes and failures made in
the church—but remember the
chnrch is made up of people.
And it is the church of Christ
Help to make it a better church
by holding to your faith in its
final triumph. Keep faith in
God. This is His world, and
He is in the world He made.
And He said: “Be of good
cheer, f have overcame the
world.”
