at their regular meeting Thurs-
day evening to ask for the sup-
port of the chamber in encour-
agtng new members and reor-
ganising the fire department.
Mr. Kristensea stated that
drills would be conducted by
qualified instructors from Na-
cogdoches Center tod Cartilage
each month. The City of Timp-
aon is rated as seraiprotected
with Che hwwance companies
and could very easily be placed
an the unprotected Bst if some-
thing isn't done to build up the
department.
The chamber voted unani-
mously to pohlildy support the
fire depertmert and to encour-
age new members. The firemen
will have their newt meeting on
Oct. 15.
