HE COULDN'T WORK
Back On the Job Making More Money
Than Ever ’In His Life, He Says-
Maruo N.‘“ DR, M, E ROGERS
‘‘For the first time in fifteen years
I can sit down and eat a big beef-
steak supper and go to bed after-
, wards and sleep like a log all night
long," said George Fnnderson, a well-
known miner living at 1016 Smith St..
Peoria. 111.
"Tills Tanlac has overcome a
mighty bad case of stomach trouble
and rheumatism for me.” he continu-
ed. "My legs ached and pained 30
bod I couldn't use my pick half the
time. Everything I ate bloated me
up with gas for hours afterwards and
1 would have the worst cramps in my
stomach you ever heard of. Some-
times a cramping spell would hit me
when I was in the mine at work and
I would have to run out and lie down
until it passed off. I finally got in
such bad shape I had to quit my job
and for three months l was not able
to hit a lick of work.
"I saw in the paper where Tanlac
had relieved otir State Mine Inspect-
or of trouble just like mine, so I de-
cided to try it, too and sir, it was
simply amazing the way Tanlac put
me on my feet. I haven't a trace of
rheumatism or stomach trouble now
ant] actually believe I am stronger
than I ever was iti my life. You would
think so, too. if you could see the
tons of coal I pile up every day—
and I am making more money than J
ever did. Tanlac is certainly a real
medicine and 1 boost it every chance
I have.”
Tanlac is sold everywhere.

Many industries have sufficient or-
ders to keep busy until September or
October. But unless something is done
to restore confidence in the future,
tiiey do not kuow where business is
coming from after these dates. Some
prophets foresee 2,5o0,000 men walk-

October 1.
A little uncertainty may be a heal-
thful sentiment. It will make pro-
ducers and jobbebrs more conserva-
tive about the prices they ask. It
will tend to quiet labor and end the
epidemic of strikes. As the season
goes on, it would seem likely that all
interests would be contented with less
margins of profit, in order to assure
regularity of operation. Thar can not
