School Election
Called For May 15
To Set Tax Rate
An election to set the tax ratxf
of the Bartlett Independent
School District has been set for
May 15. No raise in the present
rate of 97c is contemplated but
setting of the rate in an election
was made necessary by tho re-
cent separation of the school
from the city.
The old rate of 97c was set foir
the municipal school district
and theoretically the Bartlett
Independent School District is a
new district with out a .tax rctc
until the rate is set in an elec-
tion. The election will be held at the
city hall with A. F. Czarowitz
serving as judge Mrs. Frances
Lindemann and Mrs. C. W. Dil-
