SERVICE SCHEDULE
This broken tombstone has been at the old city water works plant
for many years, but current employees don't know when it was
taken there or why. It bears the inscription S.S., wife of W.W.
Head, Aug. 4, 1819 to March 14, 1872. The marker apparently had
an upper element which has been broken off. Jimmy Williams, the
city's director of public works, removed the marker for safe keeping
but is hopeful it will be claimed by a descendant. If not, it will be
given to the Dublin Historical Museum.
