On behalf of the Dublin Senior Citizens, Inc. I would like to
take this opportunity to thank members of the Dublin Economic
Development for the $3500 community1 improvement grant given
us. This money is being used to paint the exterior of our building.
If you have noticed, part of it has been painted but we still lack
quite a bit of having it done and with this grant, we can get it
finished sooner than we had planned.
We would also like to thank the Boy Scouts for their work
cleaning and digging our flower beds, getting them ready for
plants to also enhance the looks of the building.
Thanks also goes out to Keep Dublin Beautiful as Linda Dane,
a member of the KDB has been the designer of the landscaping.
Bradberry’s has donated mulch and other products to get our
flower beds ready as well as Outback donating some plants.
Without the above people, we could not do the projects that we
have going at the time. It is great to live in a community that
people love to help with their time and their money.
Thank you all ever so much.
Jo Ann Ragan, President
A hero can be anyone,
anyone that can do something
for someone and not ask for
anything in return.
A hero is someone who can
stand up and say I am here for
you, all of you.
A hero can be anyone,
anyone like you and me.
A hero is someone that takes
care of you.
Like your mother, your dad,
your husband, your wife or a
friend and even strangers that
you don’t even know.
A hero can be anyone.
