BIG CATCH - A trot line on Brady Creek just after a big rain week
before last netted a big catch in more than one way for Tinker
Lemke, right, and Erich Morris of LaVerenia. Jimmy Rodgers of
Dublin was also on the trip. In addition to the 40-pound yellow cat
and 16 pound yellow cat, they caught a whole string of channel cat.
The yellow cats took the bait of goldfish while the channels bit on
chicken livers.
LIONS FIELD - The baseball field at
many years ago and many people know it as Lions Field. However,
the Lions Club, with help of city workers Jeremy Jennings, right,
and Duane Martin put a sign so that people w ill know which field it
is. It is located across the street from (he Rotary field.
