Work begins on Hogan Museum
With an abundance of
moans and groans, eight
sturdy civic-minded
volunteers removed the
awnings at the Lyon-Prim
Building in October,
signaling the start of
construction of the world’s
only museum which pays
tribute to Dublin’s native
son Ben Hogan, one of the
outstanding golfers of all
time.
The awnings were put into
storage until the large Ben
Hogan Museum logos, then
currentlyunder construction
in Fort Worth, were installed.
The awnings will be cleaned
and put back into position
The building, owned by
the Dublin Historical Society,
has been given a fresh coat

The museum will celebrate
the life and career of Mr.
