LUNCH & A SHOW- Dublin
and its surrounding
community descended on
the city park in May for a
special all-day celebration
hosted by KEQX radio
station. Those attending
were treated to free
barbeque from Dale’s as
well as a full day of live
music from some “pure
country” all-stars.
Drawings were also held
for a variety of door prizes.
Station manager Sam
Upshaw reported that the
day was a way of thanking
the public for coming to
support a benefit held for
the Gain family.
38 ‘Years and Counting!
Since 1972, James Fritts and his
crew have been serving up burgers,
fries and cold drinks along with
delicious frozen items to Dublin
citizens and the many who drive
through Dublin.
The menu has more than tripled in
38 years and new items are
constantly being added, including
the tasty fajitas every Tuesday night.
