Dear Editor,
As some of the community
may already know, I was
recently released from Plaza
Medical Center in Fort Worth
following quadruple bypass
surgery on my heart.
I suffered a heart attack on
Tuesday, June 1 and had this
mayor procedure done
Thursday, June 3.
I am still recuperating and
will do so for at least another
month. I have my good
moments along with glimpses
of feeling bad on any given
hour, but I guess that comes
with the territory, so to
speak.
My main reason for this
informative statement is to
let everyone know that I
greatly appreciate your
concerns and prayers for my
recovery.
1 strongly believe in the
strength of prayer and ask
that everyone doing so, please
continue to do so, as I believe
it is what’s giving me the
strength to recover so quickly
and has given me the will to
change my lifestyle in a
manner that I can strive in
this world much longer.
Again, I would like to thank
everyone for your support
and prayers following my
unexpected episode.
