The Donkey Basketball Game
Friday night was a success. You
really have to give the youths
and the Holy Riders credit for
being brave to get on those
contrary animals. I’m sure there
were a lot of sore bodies the
next morning from landing on
the gym floor. There was quite a
turn out of spectators and the
cake auction went real well.
Monday, Pat Gilbert had a
day of classes on a continuing
beautician course education. 1
appreciate the fact that Pat
keeps up with the times and no
wonder she is such a wonderful
beautician..
Frank and Sue Keith
celebrated their birthdays
together with Darren and Katie
Keith, Dustin Keith and Stacy
Alford by going to Brownwood
and eating at Underwood’s.
The menu for this coming
Sunday at church is
Sandwiches.
Lauren Simpson joined our
church by letter last Sunday. We
are very glad to have her with
us. i
Camp Masterson is coming
up in June. Phil
House volunteered to cook so
everyone should be eating good.
Some church members rode
the bus to Brownwood April 18
to hear Nanci House play the
piano for her Senior Recital.
Then last Thursday Bette House
said she and others went to
Brownwood again for the
«Howard Payne Spring Band
Concert which Nanci was
participating. Bette also went to
the Clinton Anderson Horse
Training Clinic lagt weekend.
Jalie Miller paid a visit to her
great-grandmother, Alice Keith,
while her mother and
• grandmother Janie went to
Comanche.
My sister, Sandi Marker, was
concerned about her garden last
weekend but the blunt of the
storm missed them and the
garden was fine. She lives out in
the country a^few miles-'from
Sherman.
I’ve been under the weather
with a kidney stone. Those
things can sure ruin your day.
Happy Birthday to Phil
House, Monday, May 8.
Giving equals winning

cheesecake for the business with the most people donating
blood. Kathy Cox won a certificate from Chigger Ranch,
Mac McKinnon won a certificate from Scriptures Bible Book
Store, Jennifer Gibson won a certificate from Buckboard,
Bill Tidmore won a donated item from Higginbothams, Pat

YUan^ You
The family of Alfred Randolph would like to thank everyone who
sent food, flowers, cards and gave aid to my transportation to Dallas,

George Malice for their support.
Thanks to. all of my friends for just being there with a hug or smile
or anything you did to make it all a little easier.

Easter eggs
wanted
Officials at Golden Age
Manor Nursing Home are
already planning for next
year’s big community-wide
Easter egg hunt.
People with left over,
unwanted plastic eggs are
asked to bring them by the
facility.
More than 100 children
attended this event to hunt
nearly 6,000 eggs and nursing
home officials want to ensure
that next year is just as
successful.
Corrections
Last week was a. time for
transposing letters in names.
We did it to School Board
Candidate Don Keith and to
Dublin in headlines. Keith
graduated in 1976.
We also added an “R” to
the wrong part of the name for
Garry Bartee,
Our apologizes to those
where we goofed up.
